DDGC Mutual Aid Network Log Report: November 2024 – February 2026

When we first established the DDGC Mutual Aid Network, we committed to publishing an anonymized aid log that details the ways we have been able to build a collective and support one another in various ways. We share this information both to encourage transparency in how we function as a mutual aid community and to highlight the many areas affected by, for example, contingency or lack of mentorship and support in German Studies.

Today, we publish the newest iteration of the mutual aid log to share data from the last year and a quarter.

Resource requests during this cycle included transcription and translation support and copy edits of an academic text. They also included financial contribution for a fundraiser benefitting the family of a colleague who died.
